| I am helping a friend upgrade his tt's tune. We want to use a spare ECU he has but it is from an NA. I have seen discussions where the NA ECU will work OK with some minor issues such as fuel pump speed etc... I socketed the board and installed my emulator with a tune for my car then installed the ECU in my car to be sure it worked OK. My car has the boost solenoids removed and replaced with an indicator light/relay so I can tell if it is in safety boost mode. With the NA ECU the lamp is on all the time. Is that normal or is there a problem with the ECU?
