They just give it a lite spritz of WD40 around the CAS seat where it meet the bracket. From there take a blunt object that will not mare up the CAS and tap it slightly to start the movement.
Be concious of the CAS connector. Work it for a while tapping both side and it should come out or at least give you enough room to pry safely.
Otherwise, do like tim said and remove the cover and then remove the CAS bracket all together.
