Subject	Need help - Fuel gauge needle is an inch below E.

Message	Drove my car today and discovered my gas gauge needle was way down below E, in the "premium fuel" text. Gauge showed about half tank yesterday and was working fine. Now nothing. Filled it up at the gas station and the needle is still parked at the same spot. Lights in the cluster work fine along with the other gauges. If you have experienced this before or have a solution for this problem or perhaps a troubleshooting tip it would be appreciated. Thanks.
