Message I have a 1991 NA 2+2. Here is the whole sequence of events.

-My clutch started to slip, so I adjusted it multiple times until I adjusted it to a point where the clutch barely disengaged when I pressed the clutch pedal. The clutch kept slipping.

-During my last test drive the clutch pedal fell to the floor with no pressure.

-After the car sat for a couple of days, some pressure "appeared" (no idea how). The pedal had some pressure, but all the pressure was at the bottom of the pedal's range of motion and it was incredibly stiff. The clutch did not disengage enough for me to shift into gear.

-I changed both slave and master cylinder. I bled both of the points (put about 6 oz. of fluid through both lines/no indication of bubbles coming out). The pedal went back to being really stiff at the bottom of its range of motion and I still can't shift into any gear.

Do I need to keep bleeding the lines as literature on tt.net suggests or can something be mechanically wrong inside the bell housing? I can't tell if these are two separate problems occurring in close time proximity or just one endless problem.
