| Threw in my TT fuel pump last night. Issues: The infamous whine is present. Like all noise
interpretations, some have said that this
whine is to be expected, and some even say
that they don't have it on their conversion.
I'm currently running it on a NA FPC and NA
ECU. I will be measuring voltage tonight, but
here is just what I discovered as new. Pump was swapped correctly (NA housing TT
pump in my 2+2 tank). The startup pressure
noise has SiGNIFICANTLY increased, and it
does not crank well on the first 1-3 tries. It
will turn over afterwards (my remote start
doesn't work anymore because of this). This
along with the huge hissing noise in the rear
of the car, and I just may wellbring it back to
an NA pump until I have higher HP goals. Another small issue is that the gas reading is
off, but I'm figuring the float got stuck
somewhere. Any thoughts on the cranking issues?
