I just found out why there's a leak where my power steering return hose connects to the hard line near the reservoir. There's actually a tiny slit in hardline itself. I guess I went a little too deep when I was dremeling off the crimp connector.
Anyways, is there any reason why I cant just skip the hardline entirely and use a standard soft hose straight from the reservoir to the rack? The only thing I could think of is if they designed the return path to be a certain length (maybe for pressure reasons??). Anyone have any insight or done something like this before?
