| So, just a quick opinion on the Z1 hose... It seems a little longer than stock. I have a bend near the bottom that has me a bit concerned. No overly concerned, but concerned. It doesn't have provisions to fit the brackets on nicely. That's one down side. As far as the fittings go, it worked fine. Everything lined up for me about as well as I'd expect. Didn't like that the OEM hard lines used were not cleaned up (caked on oil, etc). I'd expect that to be done just as a matter of aesthetics. Oh well. Ran into a couple issues you could probably run into with an OEM hose -- the sensor wires were hardened and the contacts tore off when I was reinstalling...so, now I need a new sensor. I would suggest just replacing it while you have it all out. Haven't had time yet to reinstall the hardpipes and get everything going, so I'll come back maybe tomorrow and follow up. Overall I'm a bit of a purist -- I like things to fit/work the same as the original if they are OEM replacements. The brackets and messing around with all the funny bends of the hoses, etc, made this task a little frustrating. It really didn't take me long, but when things aren't perfect, it just doesn't feel quite right. If you want to save the money, the answer is obvious. If you want a straightforward install, get OEM with the new sensor, IMHO.
