Message	Clearance from the pickup tube and oil pan is around 1/4" or less. A dent can cause you major problems, pull the pan, or have them pull it and bang it out or get a new pan. JDM engines are famous for this because they sit on the pan when on the shelf. If possible just hammer out the dent and save yourself the money.
