Message i just finished putting back together my VG30DE. i replaced the valve
cover gaskets, the TB gaskets, the plenum gasket, the idle air hoses,
idle air control gasket, balance tube o rings, all 3 drive belts, and the pcv
hoses and valves. also some vacuum line(fuel pressure reg and
dampner). i also added a pop charger. i have read that the car will run
terrible for a minute or so but my car will only stay running when the
accelerator is pressed. sometimes, not all the time, i hear a loud escape
of air coming from behind the drivers side of the plenum. also
throughout the time of me trying to find the leak(about 5 minutes) my
car backfired once.

what could be causing this leak and could that somehow have led to the
engine backfiring? any advice would be greatly appreciated as i dont
want to have to tear everything apart again.

also i have these connectors that i cant find where they go. i have spend
about an hour trying to find where they go. you have to copy and paste
the link in your address bar because i couldnt figure out how to post the
actual picture. sorry

passenger side.

i have all of the coil packs and fuel injectors hooked up and i labeled
everything but the labels fell off. it took me 4 weeks to do this.

any help would be greatly appreciated

thank you very much
