I am in the process of swapping engines(TT to TT swap). I've got the infamous JDM oil pan dent, however it's not too bad because it was from a clip. So there was some stuff protecting it. I've pulled the pan a hammered it out. Now I am wondering what is the best way to measure the pickup tube to oil pan clearance? And what should the clearance be? I've searched around, and didn't find a way to measure it.. so some advice would be much appreciated. I took some pictures of the pan after removing the dent. It was a small dent, which was offset from the pickup tube. But the last thing I wanted to do is find I've got low oil pressure because of it, and have to pull it again to hammer it out. Thanks in advance!
