| are somewhat clogged? Also do a fuel pressure check you might have a problem with the fuel pressure regulator and/or the fuel modulator. Also check them for internal fuel leaks due to crack in their diaphrams. The diaphrams can be checked by sucking on the vacuum hose to the units and see if they hold vacuum or use a vacuum testor. Where is the timing set at? - 15 degrees BTDC is spec. I wonde rit timing belt skipped a tooth? When was the timing belt service last done? With engine warmed up and ignition switch to "on" adjust the throttle position sensor (TPS) to 0.4 to 0.5 volts usually 0.45 used. Do this by backprobing the plugged in grey connector with pins on the white and black wires and using a digital multimeter clipped to pins for the volts setting. After set with ignition switch still on unplug the grey connector for about 5 seconds and replug. Turn key off then start engine. Check the coolant temp sensor to be in spec and the connector to be free of corrosion. Clean connector and fill with dielectric grease. In fact do this to as many connectors as you can get to as PM. Check the mass airflow sensor (MAS) ohms at unplugged connector socket. See if MAS screens are damaged. Remove the MAS and clean the sensor by spraying contact cleaner (radio Shack) thru both screens and let drip dry. Reinstall and fill connector with dielectric grease. Try some fuel system cleaner in the tank. I recommend a non alcohol type like Chevron Techron (not the injector cleaner but the complete fuel system cleaner that costs more get the large bottle 20 oz I believe and add to 15 gals). Some here on TT use Seafoam but that contains alcohol and we get enough of that in the E10 fuel so I ass on that product. How old are the sparkies?
