Message	you can run without the dampener, but I wouldn't recomend it for long term. The fuel dampener is a bit like the "anti hammer" fitting you put on the plumbing for your washing machine. It acts like a shock absorber for any pressure pulsations. "If you own a 300zx, you don't have time for a hobby" "If you own more than one 300zx, you don't have time for a life"
