| doing my injector replace with the plenum pull I was able to ohm these components and luckly they were in spec. But there was carbon buildup in some ports. So I did a cleaning. As a thought remove the idle adjust screw on the IAA (after turning it in to count turns from where it is now so you can put it back at the same turns from closed). Then spray a throttle body cleaner into the idle air passage and let it soak. You can also spray the same cleaner into the short curved vacuum host. This might free up some carbon. I will add that even all the PM I have done the idle is definately more stable but on rare occasions it will jump up to 1500 at idle for no reason and the only fix is to shut off the car and then put the ignition key in start position to light up the dash and then unplug the throttle position sensor (TPS) for about 5 sec and replug and restart then all is well till the next rare event. BTW this is the service manual procedure to due after adjusting or replacing the TPS. Have you checked the TPS volt settings and to see if the TPS shaft is loose due to wear. You need to pull the TPS to check the shaft. The way to check the TPS voltage is with the TPS connected and back probe the gray connector. I had to eventually replace the TPS to get beter control over irratic idle. This may be related to the high spike at start up?
