Message The HICAS plug can be unplugged from the module. If you jump the pins going to the level sensor too, you'll get rid of the HICAS light.

There isn't a HICAS controller but rather a power steering controller. If you unplug it (the PS side) you'll notice much heavier steering. You could swap out for the NA unit but I doubt there would be any weight savings or added simplicity.
