I recently performed a N/A to TT swap. Yes, did it myself. Anyhow, Is automatic, runs fine, spins wheels through 1st gear then breaks up at the top end. Beat my brains in, cuz everything is correct. Double checked timing belt alignment, used known good MAS, CAS, coils, ECU, PTU. Held boost test at 18#, did not leak, replaced plugs. Has new Walbro 255 w/proper test pressure. Took car to local Z specialist (anon). They repeated everything & are scratching their heads. They reprogrammed the ECU with much less fuel & it ran better. Has anyone ever seen injectors causing this (too much fuel)? The injectors were good out of a motor that was upgraded. I preground the plenum for easy removal of the injectors, but don't want to replace them unless I am sure they are the issue. Your experience is greatly appreciated.
