I had a problem like this I think you should consider looking at your battery terminals and see if the connection is good or not. this includes if there is there a fair amount of rust on there. Perhaps check the wire from the battery to the starter at the starter see if there is any rust there too. Basically rust may be causing too much resistance in the current to the starter i think.
It could also be your starter relay. There is a tech that shows how to get and replace that.
I used to take a rubber mallet and smack the starter in my old chevy... hmm...
