Every so often the red "BRAKE" light on my dash will come on,but eventually go off. I searched and found a few posts where it could be a burned out tail lamp. All mine appear to be working,so I checked the brake master cylinder. It`s a bit low,but not by any means empty. Brakes are also in perfect working order. Before I add any fluid,is there a certain type that has to be used,and can fluid just be "topped off" without doing a complete brake system flush? I know absolutely nothing about brake systems,so I just wanted to check in here before I did anything to it. Can I just use the Valvoline Synpower fluid I used to bleed my clutch master awhile back?
