| Opening the oil cap shows very light smoke, intermittently, not constantly, maybe one very light puff every 5 seconds. Nothing that raises any alarms in my amateur opinion. I have not checked the IC piping for oil, and I have not done a compression test although I requested one from the shop when I turned it back in. I still think the engine is sound but I really dont know. Let me guess, bad cylinder means new motor? I got a decent quote, 10.5K towing included.... Might be time to start considering it.... If you havent read my other post, long story short, car ran great after install, boosted this one time to 18 PSI, shut it down and went home, then it developed an exhaust leak within the next 2 days. Then I noticed the smoke while diagnosing the problem.
