Message	:Trying to take my crank off and the timing belt gear pulley that sits on the crank before the oil pump will not come out. I tried heating it, wacking it with chisels etc. any have this problem? any ideas? I just did this the other day, the "cutting it above the keyway with a dremel method" worked great! by the time you drill and tap holes for the gear puller method, you could've cut and chiseled it off. You just have to be careful not to damage the snout, key, or oil pump.
