for the new style injectors that fits the old style lower manifold therefore no machining needed an no huge extra work to pull the lower manifold. Cost of (machining + late OEM fuel rails) vs Cost of (300 degree rails + AN fittings and fuel line)?? 300 degree makes several fuel rail options for old and new style lower manifolds as Ahmed (Chicago) noted. If you want to do the machining route then you really don't need the 300 degree rails but you would need the later stock fuel rails. FYI using the 300 degree rails will involve some maching of the plenum at the #1 injector area to allow the connector to fit on the injector. Also special AN fittings are required and the fuel lines out the rear of the 300 rails require realignment to connect to the stock fuel lines at the pressure regulater and the pressure modulater locations and some removal of the steel water lines at the rear passanger side. If you plan to do the throttle body coolant bypass than that makes it all the easier for the steel water line removal.
