this site (be sure to check out the seller and the builder). You can buy a short or long block from IPP, which might be cheaper than rebuiling yours. If you look at either of these options and think it's too much cost, re-educate youself. Many people don't realize that buying a JDM engine could be just be the beginning of your expenses. Many little, and expensive, things will need replacement soon, and get fixed/replaced when reliable people are building an engine, (and there are sometimes many extras, like downpipes, flywheels,pulleys, etc.) For example, injectors are $1000, wiring harness $350, etc. Main thing is: educate yourself. A JDM engine is ok for some applications, just make sure that's you. If you really want a reliable car for years, and want 400 whp, then JDM is probably not for you. By the time you get to where you want to be, you will spend more than the $5000 it might take to get a good built engine.
