in just doing the rings if you have it apart you might as well do the bearings and have the heads rebuilt too. Do a 120K maintenance while it's apart. At that point it might be better to look into either a long block from Kyle at Import Parts Pro or find a good used engine with good compression.
I bought a JDM clip for my swap. The engine had ~60K on it and it has really great compression. It runs really strong. If you look you can get a good used engine much cheaper than a rebuild.
