Message the injectors have no way of metering how much fuel goes in except to time the pulse length at which they are open and that is why it is imperative to not only have good fuel pressure but also to make sure that it goes up and down with the manifold air pressure.

I dont know ho low is too low, but if you've had it on the dyno and your not running lean then I would assume everything is okay.

If you guage is in the cabing it is probably an electronic unit? (just guessing because msot dont like a fuel line run into the cabin). You might try getting a mechanical unit and hooking it in right after the fuel filter the way ash does in his 6 P's document. maybe there will be a discrepancy between the two guages?
