that molding. Replaced mine last summer. Be aware that there is a "molding fastener" that helps hold the molding in place. So if you have a body shop remove the molding, for say a repaint, oftentimes they will have to remove the fastener since it is glued to the molding groove. If it is not replaced then the new molding will look like it is nicely in place but will not be securely fastened. Then when you drive down the interstate it will blow out and be lost forever... Ask me how I know. :-)
My paint shop did replace the fastener and bought another new molding, so it did have a happy ending.
