Message UPDATE: I bled and changed the fluid in the hydraulic clutch system...the fluid was brown/dirty/burnt... The grinding into 4th and 5th still occurs. My next step with be to put the heavier duty redline tranny oil.

To isolate the issue with the squeaking brakes, i switched the pads...Driver side pads to passenger side and vice versa. The noise was now coming from the opposite side, so the pads were the issue. I put in a set of wagner thermo quiet pads, so far so good.

I am not in safety boost. I'm just not boosting to max. I believe it is a boost/vacuum leak problem. There has been a whistling noise at idle lately, so perhaps this is the leak. This might also explain my dying idle at speed issue. Does anyone know how to boost leak test these cars? I had an eclipse gst, and i did that by capping the turbo. But there has to be a different way on the Z cuz there's no f***ing way i can get to the turbos. Please help me restore my love for this car
