Subject	Is there a product that can dissolve windshield glue?

Message	Or atleast loosen it? I want to remove my side skirts but the entire top edge is sealed to the car using a black windshield glue. I was going to cut through it with a razor, but I don't want to risk cutting into the paint. ------------------------------------------------------------ 1995 300ZX TT
