Message A peak hold function will tell you the highest reached boost since being reset. If it reads like 1.20 hKPa, which is 120KPa (17.4 psi) or higher this is likely a boost spike. Probably need to turn down the high boost setting. After several hard pulls, if the peak boost doesn't exceed your target, you've probably reduced the chances of a spike. But remember, boost can vary with temperature, gear, and rpm so rechecking periodically is necessary.
