i never had this issue smoke testing any Twinturbos. Sounds like somethings wrong. Are you sure thats where its coming from? Are the boost lines even connected to the top of the recirce valves?
smoke testers ussually dont make much pressure either about 1-2psi. If theres leakage at that about then id say theres a problems. I higly recommend the boostpro boost tester in teh classifieds. That took and some soapy water will nail down the location of a boostleak in no time. Smoke testers dont put the system under the same stress that the system sees at full boost.
