After a few weeks of sitting, I took the Z out for a short run tonight. When we got home, I decided to let her sit and idle for a bit since I don't run her that often anymore. While in my drive-way idling, I noticed drastic dips in the idle. It would sit for a few seconds at 800-1k rpms, then dip below 400, to the point the engine almost died. A that point, I gave it a quick rev and everything was alright again. I'm thinking it might be something electrical because after the near-death post-rev, the lights, clock, and headlights all got brighter. Any ideas what it could be? There's already a few known issue's such as a failing injector, failed AIV system, and a pen-size hole in the exhaust. I know the unstable idling could be because of the injector but any other ideas on what to check?
