Like a dumbass, I was replacing my coolant temp sensor connector, so I cut the connector wire, and didn't make note of which side of the connector went with which wire of the two wires. Is there a + and - wire, or does it not matter if I switch the wires on the connector. I assume that since there was only one way to connect the connector to the sensor, it must matter which contact on the sensor connects to which connector wire, right, or is it simply like a resistor that wouldn't matter?
