:Just purchased a 90 300zx tt, and the car will not boost past 0 psi. It has an aftermarket boost guage and turbo timer. THe only two mods visible. :The aftermarket boost guage actually shows it boosting to 3 psi, but the stock guage reads 0 psi. It idles at -14 on both. :My thoughts are as follows: :* Major boost leak :* Turbos siezed up :* Something messed up with the wastegates... :* The previous owner thinks its a "sensor" messed up, which it may very well be, but from my ownership in turbo'd cars, im not so sure. :I have searched and from that, it looks like I might be close on the above thoughts. ANyone have any more input? :Can someone tell me if there is a "homemade" way to make a boost leak tester? I have a 2 1/4 inch tester already, but not sure if it will work on the 300z. Any help would be appreciated! thanks! :
