| I sold my Z several weeks ago. The new owner told me that the battery went dead after 5 days of not being driven. I had just replaced the hood sensor switch with a used one from Z1 motorsports because the boot had cracked and fallen off. I was basically fixing every tiny little thing wrong with the car because I was selling it for a premium. Is there a test that doesn't require removing the switch? Can I have him alarm(basically locking the door) with something pressing on the switch and then have him release the switch? If the switch is working, the alarm should go off, right? Is there a better way to test?
