It all started when I replaced the original stock radiator because the plastic started failing and the car would overheat. so I purchased another radiator, and new hoses, filled it with coolant and went on my way. I noticed the temp would run higher than normal but it wouldnt hit the H, as it did earlier. so i decided to go for a a drive. It was night, and I accelerated to pass a vehicle and it seemed fine, a couple miles later it then slowly started losing power until I had none, so I coasted into a gas station and heard ticking sounds. I turned it off then made a phone call for help. afterward I tried to start it but just got a struggling sound. the next morning I removed the ignition coils, 5 of them were badly melted. The spark plugs looked fine, except for one of them. It is stuck in the cylinder because I cant get a grip around it thanks to the lower part of the coil that is melted to it.. I drained the oil, it had a burnt smell but it looked like only oil, no water or metal shavings. I'm wondering if there are any experienced mechanically inclined z owners who would give me their take on what probably happened, and if it's a total loss. thanks for any help
