| So I've been trying to figure out a clicking noise coming from the front of the Z after installing the 350z brake upgrade. I rotated both the front wheels and noticed that there is a very soft clicking noise coming from the passenger front hub. The noise was faint and wasn't a single clicking noise but a very short set of clicks emitting at a certain point of the rotation. The noise would be more frequent when the wheel turned faster. This might be a sign of bad hub, but I can't think that the faint short set of clicks can be the same clearly audible clicking that I currently hear when the car is in motion. Its coming to the point where I am getting use to the noise and not caring anymore because it doesn't effect drivability. Can this be the driveshaft u-joint going bad? if so, I would not mind going one-piece. But, I did jack up the rear of the car and tried to reproduce the noise bringing the car to the speed of when the clicking occurs on the street with no luck. So, that can rule out everything from the engine on back to the rear wheels. So I am back to square one. I should go back to stock for the front rotors and see if the noise continues for my next troubleshoot. If anybody has any ideas to what it is, please help. TIA.
