Message	the edges of the machined surfaces were smooth and clean, I put in the lower insulator and put a consistent bead of copper liquid gasket between the outside of the insulator and lower plenum seat. I waited just short of 24 hours for it to set and then pressure tested each lower plenum intake tract to 20psi without any leaks. I can't say how it will hold up in the long run, but after 10,000KM since installation there are still no boost leaks. I'm sure people will frown on this installation, but I also noticed when installing everything that the original Pintle styled lower insulator wrapped perfectly around the newer styled lower insulator and sat perfectly in the seat on the lower plenum. 1990 Nissan 300ZX 1982 Datsun 200SX Cardomain website
