Message I installed a new pump and when I did that 2" hose you mentioned seemed fine. A little soft but the clamps were tight. And as you mentioned, that would be before the fuel gauge I set up in the back and in theory would show the pressure drop, which it doesn't.

I don't think it's heat effecting the FPC because as stated, the voltage stays steady. Electrically the pump seems to be getting fed what it needs to and I can't find issue with anything in the electrical system. The FPC has been swapped out for a known working one and there was no change.

As for crap in the lines, that's just about the only thing I can imagine it would be beyond a damaged fuel line. I wouldn't think the hard lines would be bricked because they're small enough that it would either be clogged or flowing, or so I would think. I don't think it's the filter sock either because I have a new pump and I've looked at it since I've installed it and the sock is still dead clean. So is the tank, there is no sign of corrosion or debris in the fuel and the tank has been drained twice in the past six months. The old sock was discolored but otherwise clean.

I might have more than one problem, but the thing is I can't even find one problem. So far everything I've checked is working fine. Which makes it all the more baffling to watch the multimeter read steady voltage and the rear gauge ready a constant 38 psi and still have the front gauge drop off.

Thanks for taking the time to toss stuff out there though, never know what might come in handy.
