Message	Other items can go bad too, such as leaks but sounds to me like the refrigerant is too low. If you are not going to attempt working on it yourself, take it somewhere reliable to get checked. Having said that, these came with R-12 which for the most part is illegal and no longer available. There are replacements for R-12, some requiring parts upgrade for compatibility. I chose to try the Freeze 12 which many people here said was good, and it in fact is. Blows as cold as the R-12 did, and no parts to change out. That was 6 months ago that I installed it and no issues.
