Message We would need to know more about your car to try and help..

1) When you say it is running rich between 2000-3500RPM, is this when you are just cruising (manifold in vacuum condition), or during boost?

2b) Have you performed an ECU self-diagnostic to see if there are any trouble codes? [ http://www.ttzd.com/tech/diagnostictech.html ]

2b) Have you performed the ECU self-diagnostic MODE-2 for the heated oxygen sensor test? [ http://www.ttzd.com/tech/diagnostictech.html ]

3) Have you gone through the 6 P's? [ http://twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=technical&msg_id=922678 ]

4) Have you tested the resistance of each injector using a multimeter?

5) Have you checked the fuel damper's vacuum line for liquid fuel to determine if the damper's diaphragm has ruptured?

6) Have you inspected the plugs to see if any of them indicate that an over-rich condition exists in any of the cylinders?

7a) When you say the mixture is running rich, what means have you used to determine that the fuel mixture is below 14.7:1?

7b) By whatever means you used in 7a, did you find a difference in mixture between the driver's bank of cylinders and the passenger bank of cylinders?

This pretty much covers what I would need to know in order to find your problem.

FWIW, the typical failure mode injectors experience will cause them to deliver less fuel than necessary - NOT more fuel.

You might want to consider finding a new technician to work on your baby. Your current tech appears to lack the knowledge required to effectively work on a Z32, not to mention, he also appears to be versed in the practice of delivering rehearsed speculations..... a dead give-away.
