How hot do those tubes get after the "ghetto" EGR delete ? I assume after installing the exhaust manifold threaded plug that you wouldn't have to worry about the 1000+ degree air coming from the header. Just wondering if the JB Weld people have used to seal up the tubes would melt ? Seems like someone could source a few brass plugs with the proper inside diameter for the folks that aren't ready to pull the EGR valve off the motor yet.
