Message	- Was the Z running when you jumpered the other car? Hopefully it was, if not, that would draw down the battery a fair amount. - How old is the battery? Most batteries today aren't as well constructed as they use to be (manufacturing cost pressures). I consider them on borrowed time once they reach 36 months or so... FYI: Autozone and some other places will test your charging system for free, so worth the trouble to do that and reduce guessing about the problem...
