| I'm starting to think wires heating up and building resistence after hot and blocking amps to pump. In this theory the only wires to blame are between the fuel pump module and contacts on inside the tank on the fuel pump, which is only about 3-4 feet of wire. The car im dealing with is 18 years old with 98k miles with rust in the rear chassis. and rust and corrosion in the tank. I'm thinking the sort wires from the pumps contacts to the pump retainer lid and bad I think of this because a few years ago i worked on a Z32 and the whole car would shut down after hot. it ended up being the large ground wire from battery-bounce of fire wall- and down to tranny that was heating up and building resistance. I remember the car have over 250,000 miles. Those are just thoughts, I'll try to keep in touch with you to see how you or I turn out.
