| lets just say you had your cas set to the wrong, and too advanced, timing, or filled your Z up with 87 octane... the knock sensor would detect the knock and put you into safety boost for your own protection. disconnect the battery and see if you go right back into safety boost or if it works correctly for a moment or a while. check your timing. make sure you are using good gas. clean coolant temp sensor. if everything checks out, try det sensor bypass but keep a close ear on it.
