Ok, so I couldn't continue my previous thread because it is locked. Car has about 80000 miles. Only blows smoke when boost is + PSI, at 0 or - PSI no smoke, also no smoke revving to 6k in neutral, also no smoke at start or idle. Seems to me to be oil smoke it is DEFINATELY not sweet smelling, but actually smells like fuel. Car is definately running rich, but the smoke doesn't look black, more light colored, maybe light grey, or offwhite. Over about 1k miles it uses no coolant, brake fluid, oil just barely moves on the dipstick. What kind of things can I check for and report back on? At 15psi it will pop the dipstick. I've changed PCV valves/hoses with OEM parts. Could an intake leak cause this problem, if the air is leaking out then it will be far to rich? Although then i'm suprised it will produce 15psi also... Also, after driving at around 0psi for a few minues, then cruising lightly at about -20psi (on the aftermarket gauge), I can notice a smoke that smells like a normal car exhaust coming from the rear of the engine, usually on the passenger side. Not too much and usually goes away quite quickly. Is there any usual suspects to check for this, i'm guessing a leaky exhaust gasket on a turbo, or is there actually a place on the turbo where exhaust can leak out? How worried should I be about these two things?
