Problem: Fuel pressure is normal for about 10 minutes and then it starts dropping off until it gets down to about 25 psi. Avenues explored: Fuel filter replaced. Fuel pressure regulator swapped out, no change. Fuel line damper swapped out, no change. Fuel pump relay swapped out, no change. Fuel pump controller swapped out, no change. Fuel pump was replaced, no change. Fuel injectors aren't leaking. Nothing else is leaking either, no gas smell anywhere. Voltage to the pump is steady, from when fuel pressure is normal right through the drop, 6.1 volts the whole way. That's what really puzzles me, the pressure drops even as the voltage stays the same. The only problems I can find are that when the car is switched to ignition instead of pumping up to 43.4 psi it barely makes 10 and then bleeds off fast. It used to get up to proper fuel pressure when switched to ignition even back when I first started having this problem. Second problem is that when I try to ohm check the fuel pump through the harness as per the manual it stays at infinite instead of coming up with a value. There doesn't appear to be any damage to the wiring and even if there was why would it run fine for the first ten minutes? I'm out of ideas so anything you want to throw out there is helpful.
