So, I change the belt and it went on without any issue. The only main concern I have with it is that the passenger side gears are a half tooth off. So, I figure that will be ok to turn the engine over and check for clearance issues. I connect everything back up and proceed to turn the key. It turns over, but it wont start. code 21. So, I then proceed to accuse the ECU and swap it with pionkej's. It throws the same code. Well, it seems the PTU may be the culprit. So, I grab a j30 ptu and plug it in, and fare no better. I then take the belt off and reset it, and it looks the same as before. I pull the spark plug and check to see there is spark, and there is none. So, I am at a loss. I have fuel and compression, and it seems it wants to start, but I need the spark and I don't know where to find it. For the recap of what I did or swapped: ECU, PTU, made sure the gears lined up. Is there anything else that has to be connected besides the CAS, battery, PTU, timing belt, ECU , and all the various plugs I can't remember at the moment?
