I am making plenty of boost with the MBC I installed today. But I noticed there is this brass fitting spliced into the wastegate line with a hole open to atmosphere. The hole is easily over twice as big as the boost jets I was running prior to the MBC, yet I am making more boost with the MBC. Is it because the hole is at a right angle to flow that it doesn't let more boost pressure escape than my boost jets did? The instructions with the MBC stated that the "brass connector must be left in place in between the wastegate actuator and the MBC for it to function properly."
