Dude this is what I did and i had the same problem as you. Get your test light and long enough piece of electrical wire to reach from the battery to the hatch. Turn the key to the radio on position so when you make this transition you will get positive results. Find the hot wire going to the fuel pump harness once youve done that tap in with your electrical wire. Tap the other end onto the positive post on your battery. Let the gas pore out of the fuel filter line for about five seconds. This process is priming your fuel pump, which will build up enough pressure for it to opperate on its own. After you have seen fresh fuel from the filter line take the electrical wire out of the syfer and give a try again you should be straight.
