I drove 50-60 miles like that on the cheapest (car) battery I could find at Sprawl-mart. I got stuck in a dead-stop traffic jam for a good part of that trip, probably took me close to 2 hours to get home? Can't quite remember now. Anyway, the battery still had plenty of juice to jump my Jeep months later, so I think I could have driven a lot longer if needed. In hindsight, it would have been a better idea to buy some pliers and actually swapped batteries, but the jumper cables got teh job done.
