Hey fellas, here is my problem. I tried search but could not find anything related to both of these issues at the same time...my Z has been intermittantly blowing a bit of blue smoke randomly at idle for the last couple of days. I work at a car dealer in NJ. When I got to work this morning, I noticed that the passenger exhaust was putting out blue smoke (this is the only side on which this will occur) when I parked. I left her running and got my service manager to take a peek. He had me remove the oil filler cap and immediately, the smoking stopped completely. We took a sheet of paper and held it over the crankcase top and it just moved up and down rapidly, it did not suction down. He says that there was no vacuum in the crankcase. We then noticed a collection of oil on the passenger side turbo outlet coupler, which he said is a sign of the PCV valve being bad (replaced 4000 miles ago), a bad vacuum check valve in the plenum, or a bad turbo oil seal. Any input on your experiences? Any way to check on this? I don't want to drive the car if its going to be an issue with my turbo, I cannot afford a new one. Thanks guys and sorry I couldn't find this in the search results...ROB 732-674-1503
