Message Hello everyone,
I have a 94' convertable, N/A, 5 speed, mostly stock.

What can I say, I have always been against satus quo, my gas leak is no exception.

So, after I run my car for like 15-20 minutes, I get the smell of gas. I can only smell it in the cabin. I run it normally, get a little juttering in idle, smell gas. When I crank it in the morning and let it warm up, it idles fine and does not smell. I opened the engine well after running (I could smell gas in the cabin) and I put my nose/felt around in the engine well, no smell or dampness. I tried smelling under the car, nothing,...

I then tried the old fuel pump on, engine off trick. I got nothing after leaving pump on for like 15 minutes. No smell at all. I checked the exhaust and could not smell anything...on a lighter note, I got a scary but enjoyable buzz.

I read that sometimes people drill holes in the gas tank when installing amplifiers, does anyone think that is the case and most importantly, know how to check it...where would that be, best way to get to it?

Also, I read that a bad gas cap can cause it, I am going to check that tomorrow but thought since I was here I would post and hope someone else has dealt with this and may be willing to lend a thought.

And God made man so that man would make car and then angels would make Z cars through man, Z angel was with God in the beginning.
Genesis chapter 800 verse 25 (this text been lost for many years, I found it on an archeology dig during college).
